Nigerian-born Pablo Elochukwu a three-time gold medal winner in the local Ontario grappling circuit. In his first MMA fight for an unsanctioned amateur event Elochukwu began to show signs of fatigue in between the second and third round it was apparent that he was almost completely out of gas.
In the third, the referre stopped the fight after was uninteligenlty defending from a very soft hammer fists ground and pound. After the round, when he sat down he was offered orange juice, fearing that his blood sugar may have dropped significantly. He then fell off the chair. Paramedics came and he was sent to the hospital where he passed away.
